The Employment Ladder creates a clear and defined path to employment in the property management field for people who have experienced or are at-risk of homelessness. We provide job training at our Employment Training Program and job placement through our social enterprise, Solutions SF.
The Employment Training Program prepares individuals within 3 to 6 weeks for employment in property management roles, primarily as lobby services staff. The Employment Training Program teaches soft and hard professional skills, with a focus on the core competencies required for employment at our social enterprise, Solutions SF. The program takes place at our new, state-of-the-art training center.
Social Enterprise – Solutions SF
Solutions SF places people who have experienced or may be at-risk of homelessness in lobby staffing jobs, and provides transitional, supportive employment for up to 18 months. Solutions SF employs over 225 individuals each year, delivers on-the-job training in market-wage positions, and prepares for them for permanent, independent employment. Once Solutions SF places its employees in external jobs, Community Housing Partnership continues to work with these individuals to provide employment counseling and retention services to ensure their ongoing success.
